Masjid ul Emaan is operated by Redhill Islamic Study Circle (RISC), registered charity number 1138280.
We are grateful for every donation made to support the mosque, its facilities, religious activities, education and community work.
Donations
Donations are normally treated as final once they have been successfully processed.
However, we understand that mistakes can occasionally happen. We may consider a refund where:
- a donation has been made more than once by mistake;
- the wrong amount has been entered;
- a payment has been made without the cardholder’s authority;
- there has been a technical or payment-processing error; or
- a refund is otherwise required by law.
Any refund request will be considered individually and must be consistent with the charity’s legal obligations.
How to request a refund
If you believe a donation has been made in error, please contact us as soon as possible.
Please provide:
- your name;
- the date of the donation;
- the amount donated; and
- enough information for us to identify the transaction.
Please do not send full card details by email.
Refund method
Where a refund is approved, it will normally be returned to the original payment method used for the donation.
Processing times may depend on the card provider or payment service used.
Gift Aid
If Gift Aid has been claimed on a donation that is subsequently refunded, we may need to make the appropriate adjustment with HM Revenue & Customs.
Restricted donations and appeals
If a donation has been made for a specific project or appeal, additional charity-law requirements may apply before funds can be returned or redirected.
